Jonathan Foote is a recovering scientist and creative technologist with decades of hands-on experience. His kinetic and light works explore perception and interaction using a range of sophisticated electronics, from vintage vacuum tubes to the latest semiconductors and actuators. Jonathan is an Adjunct Professor at California College for the Arts in the Interaction Design department, a member of the Kinetics and Electronics faculty at The Crucible, and a 2015 Autodesk Artist-in-Residence. He is also a Stochastic Labs Fellow, and has shown his work at numerous Bay Area venues as well as internationally and for commission.
