Whether or not you like monsters, one has to admit, most of us like a good scare now and then. The word Monster derives from the Latin monstrum, itself derived ultimately from the verb moneo (“to remind, warn, instruct, or foretell”). From this vantage point, monsters take on a new inspiring role, not to just scare us, but to inform us. So what can monsters teach us about our fears, our society and beyond?
The Tiny Monster Show explores our fears so we can take a deeper look at what we’ve been suppressing and what we need to confront.
