Nestled in the Rockridge area of Oakland is a quaint picture framing shop. John Bosko and his sister are the proud owners of Bosko’s Picture Framing—a family business started by their father.
John has been a collector of photographic negatives. Bosko has been acquiring/purchasing negatives for decades. This exhibition is a mere fraction of Bosko’s extensive collection. This body of work consists of prints and glass negatives. John’s photo collection highlights the beauty and growth of the East Bay landscape through a historical lens. Bosko’s World is a portal showcasing a forever-changing land, culture, and people.
