Join us for an artist talk for Material As Witness, curated by Rena Tom. This exhibit explores the photograph as object, with its own material sensibility and narrative. The artists in the exhibition engage in image-making, in a truly hands-on sense, to subvert (or amplify) the power attributed to photos as documentary evidence and bearers of truth.
The talk will begin around 6:30, with time for a Q&A after!
