Meet the artist Bryn Craig at Manna Gallery. Renowned for his plein air paintings, Craig now increasingly works in oils within his studio, often referencing photographs. His distinct representational style captures the inherent poetry in ordinary scenes without being photorealistic. Craig’s subjects range from the tumultuous surf of northern California coastlines to serene urban nightscapes, rural vistas, and occasional portraits. Utilizing traditional techniques and materials, he prioritizes genuine expression over showmanship, making his work both timeless and evocative.
