ART+STYLE Young Artist Benefit
October 12 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Manna Gallery will host a special event during Oakland Style Week to support young artists. Colin McAllister, in partnership with the Berkeley High Arts and Humanities Leadership, will showcase and sell T-shirts designed to uplift and empower emerging youth artists. “I Fund Youth Arts” and “Support Young Artists” shirts will be available for $20 each. Proceeds from the sales will directly support student artists from the Arts and Humanities Academy and the shirt designers. The funds will help cover the costs of art events and provide essential equipment and supplies for the artists.
Stop by to see our current show, aliens probes illumination on view through October 26, 2024. Oakland artists Dan Weber and Elaine Maute, founding members of Manna Gallery in Oakland’s Uptown arts district, are thrilled to present their first collaborative exhibition. This show brings together Weber’s otherworldly, internally lit acrylic sculptures and Maute’s vibrant, whimsical paintings, creating a surreal visual experience.
