Artist Talk & Reception – Janet Bogardus
January 18, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeFleurish, a solo exhibition by Janet Bogardus. Known for exploring humanity’s relationship with nature, Bogardus’s new work celebrates the beauty and resilience of botanical life. Shifting from abstracted cityscapes, her recent paintings focus on flowers, leaves, and grasses—symbols of life’s cycles. Inspired by Albrecht Dürer’s meditative studies, these works invite viewers to notice the vibrant details of the natural world.
