Lenticular photography is a captivating form of visual expression that uses lenticular lenses to create images with the illusion of depth, motion, or transformation. This art form combines multiple images or frames, interlacing them into a single composite that, when viewed through a lenticular lens, reveals different perspectives or sequences as the viewer’s angle changes. (Think of those 3D posters or moving postcards of wolves and cats.) A lenticular print has a holographic quality in that it appears to display motion when the viewer changes the angle at which they view it. It looks one way observed from the right, and it looks different when observed from the left. The revealed effect is a 3D scene, morphing, or displaying movement.
