An Exhibition of Quilts by Sew n Sews

The Sew n Sews is a mini group of the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland.  The current group consists of eight women, six who have been meeting for more than ten years.  Our mission is to develop, enhance and expand our artistic expression by supporting individual artistic journeys and sharing information. This exhibit features works that were created around different themes throughout the years. The themes exhibited are:  Book Titles, Circles, Color My Initials, Flowers, Jeans Challenge, Phrases, Red-White-Blue, and Self Portraits.
