TARA ESPERANZA: A BEE’S PERSPECTIVE
June 16 @ 12:00 pm - July 22 @ 5:00 pm

As an artist and a long-distance runner, Tara Esperanza became fascinated with the many succulent gardens she passed on sprints through her East Bay neighborhood. The strangely alluring, undulating leaves and soothing, soft gradations of color made her stop and look. The runner slowed down to get to know these plants and the artist responded with a series of paintings that celebrate the diversity and beauty of the succulent world.
