“Stories in Paint” from Nina Krebs and Connie Millholland

Join us in celebrating the unique styles of California artists Nina Krebs and Connie Millholland at Art@Archer in downtown Oakland. Their exhibition, “Stories in Paint,” runs from October 6 – November 25th.

Nina and Connie draw from their life experiences — Nina as a psychologist and Connie as an art teacher — and present very different interpretations of the world around them. Nina sees the images and objects of our inner lives migrate to the outside world in color and form. Connie has two major themes: Women’s Stories and Moments in Time, where facial expressions and body language prompt viewers to find their own stories.

In addition to First Friday receptions, the artists will be on hand at the gallery on Saturday, October 21st, in celebration of Oakland Style week, to talk about their work and their process.
