Opening Reception for: “re.or.i.ent”

Join us in welcoming the art of Dalit Fresco to our gallery. Born at the intersection of Asis, Europe and Africa, Dalit first moved to Southern CA. Then last year she moved to Oakland with its multitude of different noises, music and rhythms. Her art serves as a conduit between all the places that she has been, between memories and dreams, re-visiting places where she once lived and engraving new ones. It reflects her trying to be, to feel at home, and to get “re-oriented.”
Dalit will be on hand to talk about her work at this First Friday opening reception.
Refreshments will be served.
