Opening Reception – Dana DeKalb: A Day Like Never

All are welcome to stop by for the Opening Reception of Dana DeKalb’s solo exhibition, “A Day Like Never,” at Transmission Gallery, Saturday, October 28th from 1-4 pm. Greet the artist, check out her recent work, and enjoy the light refreshments on our lovely outdoor deck. More art to see in the gallery showroom along with concurrent solo exhibition by TaVee McAllister Lee in the Small Space at Transmission. This event is free and open to the public with free street parking nearby.

Enigmatic and trancelike, DeKalb’s paintings reflect on an unlikely perfected world, one we can only imagine, a day like never. Titles such as Utopia, Somnambulist, Escape Room, and Celestial Event indicate the course we’re on, charted through mysterious landscapes and dreamy scenes with companions unfazed by their circumstances.
