First Friday Reception for “re.or.i.ent”

Come and experience the art of Dalit Fresco with us. Dalit was born at the intersection of Asia, Europe and Africa. Her first move to the US was to Southern CA. Then, last year, she moved to Oakland, with a multitude of new noises, music and rhythms. Her art serves as conduit between all the places that have been and that are now, between memories and dreams, re-visiting places where she once lived and engraving new ones. The pieces in this exhibition reflect her trying to be, to feel at home and to get “re-oriented.”

Dalit will be on hand to talk about her work and to answer your questions.
