This is Christie Anne Langley’s second solo exhibition featuring her paintings and felt sculptures.
The subjects of her flora and fauna focused art are both beautiful and fragile as many of them are endangered or threatened species. Though she expresses a sense of humor, the dark duality of the beauty of nature, along with the real threat of extinction, is what inspires her art. She hopes that those who view it recognize their own need to connect with (and protect) the natural world.
