ARTogether Fashion + Art Fair – Part of Oakland Style Week

Join ARTogether for a Fashion & Art Fair showcasing immigrant, refugee, diasporic, BIPOC designers and artists of color. This event is in partnership with Abundance of Youth, an agency uplifting creatives of marginalized identities, and is a part of Oakland Style Week.
Come spend the afternoon with us and do some holiday shopping for your loved ones while supporting local independent creators of color.

Abundance of Youth (@a.oy___) is a creative agency established in California by Fatuma Fadhil and Noun Abdelaziz in 2022. AOY will be displaying hoodies from the recent FW’23 line launch, alongside two creative designers that will be exhibiting their designer pieces.
Deathtoheartbreaks (@deathtoheartbreaks), made up of Isiah and Elijah McClinton, has been able to create Luxury Accessory Wear (LAW) as well as build community and to create with other artists alike. They have hosted LA Fashion Week, have had Converse collaborations, as well have been in numerous stores across the United States that has been able to propel them to partner with the app called Mesh.
zuberi studios (@zuberistudios) is founded by sarah zuberi. sarah zuberi is an indian american designer based in san francisco, ca. zuberi studios is a slow fashion brand which was established in 2020. zuberi studios is known for their “one of none” movement which aims to move away from fast fashion and waste by creating one size for each piece. everything is custom and handmade by sarah herself.
Designed and handmade by Justine Pon, The Ponnery (@theponnery) creates statement yarn pom pom accessories inspired by Asian American food and culture. Through original designs like boba earrings, mochi donut car charms, and sesame ball keychains, The Ponnery seeks to celebrate Asian American communities in a playful and modern way.
Valerie Win Liu (@valerie.liu) is a Burmese-Chinese-American Artist, Illustrator, and Designer based in the Bay Area. They like to work with a variety of colors and mediums: gouache, mixed media, sculpture, upcycled materials, digital tools, and more. In their work, Liu likes to explore themes such as Joy, Humor, Curiosity, and Discovering ways to encourage/spotlight self-expression. Valerie will be selling prints and stickers!
Absurdistan (@absurdistan_), also known as Arina Sarwari-Stadnyk, is an artist who will be selling linocut block prints that celebrate queer ancestry, diasporic joy, refugee voices, and connection to motherland. Each block print comes with a poem or piece of creative writing.
