100 Faces of Oakland – Part of Oakland Style Week

Inspired by the legendary New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham, our Oakland Style street photographers will capture real-life stylemakers and the heart and soul of Oakland – OUR COMMUNITY.
Photographers Brian Molyneaux and Kola Shobo will be on the street from August through October to photograph Oakland Style. This will culminate in a breathtaking exhibit featuring 100 Faces of Oakland on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Award-winning Oakland-based photographers Brian Molyneaux and Kola Shobo have been commissioned by Visit Oakland for Oakland Style to capture the heart and soul of The Town – OUR COMMUNITY.
Visit Oakland is proud to unveil 100 Faces of Oakland, a powerful collection of photography celebrating Oakland’s vibrant, beautiful, and diverse community throughout nineteen neighborhoods.
The 100 Faces of Oakland Photo Exhibit will be free and open to the public on Saturday, October 21.
