Betti Ono was founded in 2011 by Anyka Barber and presented in association with Rockwell Creative Projects and Hip Hop Is Cool Again.

With a slant towards experimentation and independent thinking, Betti Ono gallery challenges the status quo and embodies the spirit of the creative avant garde. Featuring the work of local, national and international emerging and established artists of our time, the gallery presents multidisciplinary arts, performance and media exhibitions, happenings and experiences monthly. The gallery is located in the heart of Oakland’s Uptown Arts & Entertainment District.
