Friends of OAM are also welcome to join us at the opening forSummoning Ghosts: The Art of Hung Liu at the Oakland Museum of California on Friday March 15th, 3-6pm.

Oakland Museum of California would like to extend an invitation for Friends of OAM members to join with members of the Oakland Museum of California as they celebrate the preview of one of the most significant contemporary painters working in the Bay Area today: Hung Liu. The Chinese-born Oakland painter, whose installations span not only the Bay (have you seen her Cranes on glass panels at Oakland Airport?) but the world, is having her first retrospective, opening on March 16th, at the Oakland Museum of California.

Note you must bring your Friends of OAM membership card to gain admission.
