We invite you to explore the limits of interior and exterior space, and enter another dimension within the walls of Creative Growth Art Center.  Between Spaces surveys the physical and social environments that are molded in the minds of our artists by navigating the shifting boundaries that define a space. From highly organized renderings of urban and domestic space to abstract representations of psychological space, the artists at Creative Growth manifest their unique interpretations of the places we occupy in reality and those we can only imagine.

George Wilson engulfs his subjects in a tangled ink shroud of lines or colorful negative space, while Laura Jo Pierce lays thoughts and actions as text across sewn maps. Merritt Wallace melds blueprints and absurd schematics into futuristic vessels and Maria Bustillos collages domestic interiors in clever and dizzying perspectives. See those artists featured and many more in our first exhibition of the year!
