About Chandra Cerrito Contemporary
Established in 2007 as a curatorial project space, Chandra Cerrito Contemporary features exhibitions and site-specific installations that highlight exceptional regional and national artists, with an emphasis on conceptual strength, refined craftsmanship, contemporary vision and art historical relevance.
Please join Chandra Cerrito Contemporary for a walk through of the exhibitions Continuous Compounding and Another shape of things that happened again with exhibiting artists Jerry Carniglia and Randy Colosky. From there, we will walk over for a special preview of the new Uptown Art Park featuring works by Randy Colosky and eight other artists. Gallery Director Chandra Cerrito and Steven Huss, Cultural Arts Manager for the City of Oakland, will discuss the role of public art and the genesis of this new temporary public art program.
Refreshments will be served.
